Hours:          Full time (1 year contract)


The Shelley Pyramid of Schools are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) to work as a School Sports Co-ordinator across all 18 schools in the pyramid. The successful applicant will work with two other members of staff within the partnership and be responsible for co-ordination and development of school sports and games, inter and intra school competition and local community links throughout the Pyramid.

The successful applicant will be based at Kirkburton Middle School but will travel throughout the Pyramid of schools on a regular basis.

We are looking to appoint as early as possible in September 2019.

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Grade 3 £2387 (plus market rate supplement)

6 hours 15 minutes per week in term time (12.00 – 1.15 daily)

We are seeking to appoint an effective Lunchtime Supervisor who will be required to assist with the supervision of the pupils remaining on the school premises at lunchtime.

The ability to relate to children/young people from diverse backgrounds is essential for this job, as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children/young people and other staff members.                      

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
