School Improvement Professional
(Part time, fixed term contract to July 2021 in the first instance)
3 days per week
Salary: L14 to L18
We are looking for an experienced school improvement professional or leader with proven credibility, to work with the schools within The Mast Academy to bring about rapid improvements.
This post is suitable for experienced Headteachers, senior leaders and current school improvement professionals who have a track record of bringing about rapid improvement in schools. The successful candidates may be Ofsted inspectors although this is not essential.
We are looking for talented school improvement experts who can offer knowledge and experience of how schools can improve at pace and who have the credibility to engage with stakeholders and partners across the school system.
This is a key role and you will be required to support and challenge leaders across the trust, ensuring they achieve the very best for all learners and focus on our mission of all the schools being good or better.
We are seeking to recruit a school improvement/education adviser to monitor, challenge, support and empower school leaders to deliver high quality provision for all pupils within schools, as well as deepen accountable partnerships, drawing on their collective expertise and combined resources to enable all pupils to achieve their potential and ambitions.
You will need to be able to demonstrate you can forge effective professional relationships at all levels – with all the schools within the multi academy trust; with governors, Headteachers, teachers and other agencies.
It is important that you share our wider vision for the trust to deliver high quality services that schools value and trust. To be successful, it is likely you will have led school improvement in a relevant context – either as a school leader or perhaps in an advisory role with a local authority, academy trust or other school-led system.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team who are committed to delivering improving results. You will find talented colleagues ready to support you every step of the way.
