Kirkburton Middle School (KMS)
Kirkburton Middle School has specialist facilities for art, ICT, sport (including a floodlit all-weather pitch) and technology. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and draw most of our children from First Schools in the surrounding villages of Emley, Farnley Tyas, Highburton, Kirkburton, Shelley, Shepley and Thurstonland. At the end of Year 8 most of our pupils move on to Shelley College, a Specialist Centre for Science.
