Welcome to Kirkburton Middle School

Kirkburton Middle School is surrounded by beautiful countryside, drawing most of our children from First Schools in the surrounding villages of Emley, Farnley Tyas, Highburton, Kirkburton, Shelley, Shepley and Thurstonland.  At the end of Year 8 most of our pupils move on to Shelley Specialist Science College.  The school has specialist facilities for art, ICT, sport (including a floodlit all-weather pitch) and technology.
