The year begins with a drawing module on tone. Pupils learn a variety of techniques to produce tonal drawings. Following this they will study the work of Italian artist Giorgio Morandi and select their own still life composition. They will produce an A2 acrylic painting exploring his style.
Pupils will be studying African art. They will be designing their own African mask and making it out of mod-roc and mixed media.
Pupils will be looking at the work of the Op artists and producing their own 3D piece based on the work of Frank Stella.
