Required as soon as possible, a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly skilled teacher who is able to teach Mathematics and Science to 10 to 13 year olds. This post would be suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers and is for four days/week.

Kirkburton Middle School is a part of the Mast Academy Trust and the highly successful Shelley Pyramid. It is an exciting place to work with a bright, long-term future ahead.  The school was inspected in April 2015 when Ofsted judged the school to be ‘Good’.  Progress in Maths and Science is a real strength of the school and we are extremely keen to appoint someone with the skills and enthusiasm to help us drive standards even higher.

If you are an excellent classroom practitioner, a good ‘team player’, have high ambition for all pupils and would like to work in a superb school, we would very much like to hear from you.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

Application forms should be returned to Mrs Robinson, Bursar by Friday 26th May 2017.  Interviews will be held Friday 9th June 2017
