Sports Hall Athletics
In the early days of November the year 6 sports hall athletics team travelled to Newsome High School. There were 4 other teams. They were Almondbury, Newsome, Rowley Lane and South Crossland. We finished in 1st place. Rowley Lane came second.
In the second round our main rivals were Scissett Middle but we won and they came 2nd.
At Leeds Road there were 8 other teams including us. They were very challenging and we were put to the test, the schools were; Lindley, Golcar, Bywell, St Patricks, Crossley Fields, Whitechapel Middle School and Scissett Middle School.
In the end Scissett came 3rd, we came 2nd and Lindley came 1st.
KMS and Lindley have now qualified to Halifax.
