GETTING TO SCHOOL

The majority of pupils travel to and from school by bus. School buses operate a service to local villages.

The school has a Bus Policy drawn up jointly by the Bus Companies, Governors and School, adherence to which helps to ensure safety and efficiency. Any problems should be reported to the school at the earliest opportunity. Concerns are always followed up and action taken where necessary, including contacting the bus company when it is deemed appropriate.

Pupils and parents are asked to note that pupils who do not behave appropriately may not be allowed to use the bus for a period of time. A copy of the Policy, together with details of routes, collection points and fares for school buses is distributed to all parents of new Year 6 pupils at the meeting in the Summer Term and is available on request.

(Please note the K82 departs around 3.55 p.m. Pupils are kept inside school until the bus arrives in inclement weather.)
